THE CONFERENCE VENUE
The 26th European Social Services Conference will be held at the Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento, a hotel and convention centre located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River. Situated in the North-West of Seville, its proximity to the main historic sites of interest make it the ideal conference venue as it offers a location which combines easy accessibility with a quiet environment.

Seville has a rich and fascinating history which delegates will be able to discover in one of Seville’s most iconic sites during two special evening events which have been arranged for conference delegates.
The Gala Dinner will be a great occasion to exchange with peers in a relaxed atmosphere.
CITY OF SEVILLE
The capital of Andalucia, situated on the banks of the Guadalquivir river is rich in history and internationally famous for its flamenco, tapas bars and spectacular architecture. Former capital of the Moorish empire, Seville was also the most important Spanish port for the New World in the 15th and 16th centuries. The streets and squares in the historic quarter are lively and busy, they treasure many buildings with World Heritage designation and the districts are full of traditional culture. Seville is a vibrant city and a major tourist attraction which we hope you will enjoy discovering.
Getting to the Conference Centre
The Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento is ideally located in the north-west of the centre of Seville and only 12km away from the Airport, which makes it easily accessible.
How to get there:
You will find many taxis outside the Airport terminal. Travel time to the conference venue is around 20 minutes and costs 20-25 euros.
EA buses operate from 04.30 am to around 00.15 am. A single ticket costs 4 euros and a round trip 6 euros. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes.
