We’re kick starting two of the mornings at this year’s conference with two rapid Project Forums – where a number of organisations will have the opportunity to showcase their great work and practices.
Drawing on the submissions for the workshop programme, up to 11 organisations will be giving a five minute ‘pitch’ of their initiative which will be followed by short Q&A session.
The presentations are split over two 45-minute sessions, which are scheduled to start at 9.15am on Tuesday 29 May and 9am on Wednesday 30 May.
Amongst the topics being presented on Tuesday are activity programmes for the elderly from the Care Inspectorate, Scotland; e-vouchers in social policy from the Piedmont Region, Italy; and supporting families with complex difficulties from the FoU Centrum, Sweden.
There will also be presentations from Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Spain and the Matia Foundation.
On Wednesday, presentations include tackling energy poverty at local level from the Catalan Association of Municipalities and the MISSION project, a pilot programme on social work intervention in Belgium.
The project forums are a great start to the day. See the programme of presentations.
